The 4-week challenge to clear skin
Most people have difficulty finding the perfect skincare routine that will work for them because not everyone has sensitive skin or acne. So when I came across the Clean Slate Challenge, where I was challenged to clear my skin in just 4 weeks using 3 simple steps, I thought, “I bet I can do this!” So I signed up and set out to get clear skin for life.
The Clean Slate Challenge is a simple 3 step process that will clear your skin of acne, blackheads, whiteheads, oiliness, and blemishes in just 4 weeks.
Here are the steps :
- Use soap and water two times a day to clean your face
- Exfoliate once a week using the Clean Slate Method to get rid of dead skin cells that are clogging pores
- Apply any product of your choice on top of your cleansed face after you have exfoliated
I was so excited to begin this challenge, and I really wanted my face to be clear. But as you can find out from the before and after pictures below, I was a little disappointed when I saw how many whiteheads had grown on my nose!
After just 4 weeks, I had definitely seen a difference in my skin. It was clearer and softer. The blackheads were gone, and so was the oiliness that used to make me look greasy next to just a few hours of wearing makeup!
I’m still on this challenge, and I will continue to use the 3 steps that I have learned so far. These are my current 3 steps :
- Use soap and water two times a day to clean your face
- Exfoliate once a week using the Clean Slate Method to get rid of dead skin cells that are clogging pores (I use the Clean Slate Method by SkinCeuticals, which is a very gentle way to exfoliate)
- Apply any product of your choice on top of your cleansed face after you have exfoliated
My current 3 step routine has helped me clear my skin up and eliminate all the blackheads and whiteheads. I’m so happy that my skin is no longer greasy, and it’s super soft!
